Lane Castle acquired commercial premises in Highbury, North London (previously the home of Arsenal FC) and Wokingham, Surrey.

Working with BW Interiors, Lane Castle managed the fit out to produce high quality nursery schools, which were then let to Kidsunlimited Ltd, part of the Bright Horizons family of nurseries.

In London planning permission was secured to decrease the size of space as proposed by the original concept, to satisfy the requirements of the tenant. The remaining 1,000 sq ft was replanned as a well proportioned apartment and sold on a long lease.

In Surrey the school was created from securing a change of use of a detached building from an office (B1) on a small business park to a flexible B1/D1 use.

“We relish the challenge of bringing novel and difficult sites into profitable use through hands on development.”
